U
The goal of the U8 program is to teach young, motivated players basic soccer skills in a fun and appropriately challenging environment. We refer to this age group as the "opportunity age group", where a positive and fun environment will foster a player's love for soccer—one that we hope will continue for many years to come. Players in our U8 program receive professional training in age-appropriate groups with an emphasis on technical skill development, physical development and cognitive learning.
The year includes the following:
Fall (Aug - Nov)
  • Season Start on August 22nd
  • U8s will participate in Trevian friendlies late August
  • 10 League games
  • Practice twice a week
Winter (Nov - Mar)
  • One indoor practice a week starting mid November
  • One indoor game a week starting in January  (additional cost)
  • Futsal at GBN (Sunday evenings)
